As long as you are honest with us we will NEVER share any of the information we hold on you with anybody else. All of our data is held securely on computer systems and is password protected. Personal information can only be accessed be members of staff authorised to do so. They are trained to protect data. If a member of staff disclosed personal information to any third party they would be instantly sacked. It's in our employment contract.

If your cheque is not honoured: We will inform the relevant credit agencies of the fact. We will inform 'The British Cheque Casher's Association' who will forward your details to other members of the association. We also reserve the right to inform other businesses of the fact. We will pass your details on to relevant debt collection agencies. We may assign the debt.

If you have tried to obtain money by fraud: We will pass all the information we hold onto the police. We will inform the relevant credit agencies of the fact. We will notify 'The British Cheque Casher's Association' who will forward your details to other members of the 'Association'. We reserve the right to inform other businesses of the fact. We will pass your details onto relevant debt collection companies.

If we can't verify a cheque yourself we will, with your permission, use the 'Transax' service from 'Certegy Ltd' to provide a warranty to your cheque. Certegy will record information in relation to any cheque they are asked to warrant and will use it to decide whether to warrant future cheques where a subscribing organization requests this service from Certegy to help to decide whether to accept a cheque as a payment. If your cheque is subsequently returned unpaid, we will inform Certegy and also provide them with any information we hold (including your name and address). We may also assign our rights to collect a debt to Certegy. Certegy will use personal data about you in order to enable them to collect a debt and may carry out a credit cheque where they deem it necessary to facilitate collection. Certegy will charge you an administration fee for the collection of dishonoured cheque.
